Carla Tara has raised two of her own children and is now a youthful grandmother who can be as spontaneous as her grandchildren. A charismatic Baby Boomer herself, Carla believes this is a special time for Baby Boomers to re-invent themselves, have more fun, and renew their commitment to openness and personal expression. To this end, she has developed this timely new workshop: Booming Relationships.
Carla Tara’s qualifications include a background in psychotherapy, which gives her insights into the complexity of the human mind and behavior, 20 years of relationship counseling, 15 years of Sacred Sexuality teaching, as well as her living example of health and fitness stemming from her teaching of Yoga, and her extensive knowledge of empowering breaths and nutrition. She has helped literally thousands of individuals and hundreds of couples reach their highest potential in relationships.
In Booming Relationships, Carla Tara will look with you at the stresses that can accompany this time of change in your life, know that they are normal, and reframe them with tools from varied psycho therapeutic approaches. This workshop aims to help you transform the mindset commonly accepted by society, that ‘you should behave your age’ or ‘old dogs don’t learn new tricks’ into a positive mindset that says you now have the best part of your life in front of you. Carla loves to say: ‘People don’t stop moving because they are old, they are old because they have stopped moving!’

She been a guest speaker on Panel discussions at New York’s New Life Expo and lectured at the Sedona Temple, AZ.As the host of “Tantra Today” on VoiceAmerica radio network, she presented a series of 20 interviews with major Tantra teachers, including Charles Muir, Lori Grace, and Kutira and Raphael. As well as developing a thriving private practice, Carla has taught workshops at Lori Grace’s Sunrise Center in California, at New York’s Open Center, and in Maui.
